Company

Built by traders who got blocked once too often.

Walletory started as an internal payment tool, built when traditional banks couldn't handle the speed, scale, or honesty our businesses demanded. We licensed it. We battle-tested it. Now we're opening it.

We started within an institutional environment, supporting a proprietary trading infrastructure running thousands of strategies across global markets. By 2018, we were processing trader payouts in dozens of currencies, every single day.

Our banking partners didn't love this. SWIFT corridors took days during peak settlement windows. One bank froze our operating account at month-end because the transaction pattern looked "unusual." Another quietly capped our throughput without telling us. A third just stopped answering the phone.

So we built our own payment infrastructure. Not because it was a great startup idea, but because we couldn't run our trading operations without it. The first versions powered institutional trading payouts and automated platforms for retail traders. By 2021, it was processing over $300M monthly across seven currencies.

In 2023 we got it licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore as a Major Payment Institution. We sat on it for two more years, hardening compliance, hiring the right operations team, building the API surface that we wished SWIFT had had a decade ago.

In 2026 we opened Walletory to external partners. Same infrastructure that runs the most demanding trading flows. Now available to yours.
